Re: Tough Question kid...
Sir Dice has it right. For a Hindi, the cat would be reincarnated into something greater than a cat had it been a model cat. Otherwise, it would stay a cat or move down lower on the food chain until it learned certain existential lessons. Muslism don't differ greatly from other monothiests. Animals ...

Re: Texas Sovereignty Under 10th Amendment
A central Government is a necessary evil if the rest of the Union is to survive, because in reality each individual state couldn't do it on their own without assistance....as for intrusive regulation, well it was the republican administration that brought a lot of that into being, and as well it wa...
Re: OOOOOPS!
Regardless, I believe because it's Obama in the Whitehouse, the right wing nut jobs are pouncing on anything he does or doesn't do...Christ, he still hasn't gone to war with anyone so chill out ffs... I couldn't disagree more. This was a very poor move in all measures. In any case, let the right wi...

Re: Hummmmm...President of the US
I was raised on military bases. I have a US flag and a Marine Corps flag hanging from my cieling in my room. When the National Anthem plays, I stand at attention like a Marine, not with my hand over my heart. Personally, I don't need Obama to stand aloof during the National Anthem to know that he is...

Re: 9.9 Trillion Dollars
The significance is the amount of unConstitutional totalitarianist power that Obama, the Federal Reserve, the Treasury, and Congress are throwing around. If GM had broken contract and rewritten the negotiated terms, the Union could have sued no problem. They would have hastened GM's inevitable demis...

Re: Article on liberty by Phillip Pullman
I've been working with The Campaign for Liberty after Ron Paul ended his 2008 presidential bid. It's early in the movement, but liberty lovers are waking up. Frankly, the 8 years of civil abuse wasn't enough, but a few months worth of bills attacking our pockets has caused many people to realize the...

Re: 9.9 Trillion Dollars
The ironic thing is that the US is going into near incomprehensible debt by printing fake money to pay off debt accrued by printing fake money. Over three years ago when I graduated high school and began to truely educate myself in economics and politics, I saw this coming. Unfortunately it has only...

Re: How progressive are you
I scored a 135, which puts me at being more conservative than Conservative Republicans. Unfortunately, this doesn't say much at all. I had a difficult time answering certain questions because I any answer came with implications that were not necessarily my views. I'm a strict Constitutionalist and o...

I'm pretty sure you could get arrested for that in nearly every state.
That was disturbing.

Re: I'm Crazy!
Harb and I knew why a question was being asked, so we complied and didn't think too hard about it. We got shit done, and had way too much time to play around on the school network... Hahahahaha! Wasn't that the damned truth? Who knew broadcasting messages over the entire network was prohibi...

Re: Which religion mostly represents you?
1. Secular Humanism (100%) 2. Nontheist (98%) 3. Unitarian Universalism (89% ) Next closest was Theravada Buddhism at 67%. What I thought was funny is that Roman Catholicism was second to last with 10%. I was raised Catholic. There is a quote about how Catholicism raises great Atheists...it escapes ...

Re: Should America Adopt the Metric Sysyem?
An oversight on my comment. Auto Mechanics still use old English. You'll find many tools that still operate under 16ths of an inch.Aspman wrote:Do American tradesmen work in /16ths of inches or mm? Tradesmen are often the first to adopt anything that makes their lives easier.

You wouldn't be too far off.
Instead of spending hours pouring over code, I spend hours reviewing and analyzing hours and hours of cardiac diagnostics. Particularly Holter Monitors, which is like a crude 24 hour Electrocardiogram. I feel this irony every time I comb through one.

Re: I'm Crazy!
I started programming in the 9th grade. I became too advanced for the classes offered by my sophmore year and began taking college courses. I became an Asst. Network Engineer for my school county my junior year. I taught the (second year) Advanced Computer Systems Technology Class at my school when ...
