I used to like RPGs..Gone of them now though I dont have the time :(

www.runescape.com was a good MMORPG, the graphics are not too bad, but I like the style they are set in and I think thats what makes it a good game. Only thing is they update each week and its soooo annoying..I got banned about a year ago for saying "Google" they said I was advertising. I payed £5 each month too and it all went down the drain =\

I don't have patience for RPG's, though I might give Guild Wars a try...

But I'm mainly an FPS gamer, I've been playing alot of quake 4 lately :). I recommend it to anyone who liked Doom 3. It's better then Doom 3 IMO. Better graphics, better storyline, more imagination was used in creating the monsters. Some of their human/machine combinations are awesome!

I was big into Realms of Despair MUD a while back. I got over it though - too addictive, too demanding of one's time. Now I just do little games online and a few of my old Dos games.

I used to play Doom and Pirates a lot and of course Civ1 and 2 and 3, gave up RPG's for some reason when I left my Comm 64 and went to a Windows 98, then it was Alpha Centauri.

Still stuck on Civ 3, can't give it up, and my video card isn't up to the new games standards, otherwise I would play the new Doom and Pirates and Civ 4... 8)

civ2 was awesome in my opinion it was better than civ3, civ3 just wasn't as much fun, now civ4 I have no idea I haven't played it. I never play pc games anymore. pirates was great too, and I've always been a doom fan

Civ 4 got PC game of the year for 2005, it beat out Guild Wars and FEAR, that's a lot of competition so that says something about how good civ 4 is :).

BTW, I played the demo for FEAR and all I can say is holy shit! Scariest game ever... The best FPS so far as well... until UT 2007 :).

I play a lot of Final Fantasy XI but thats not exactly a free mmorg. Used to play a lot of CS with AO's Unoffical CS team. Adventure Quest on that list is fun for a while, but got old after a bit unless you pay for a subscription.
