World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade

Postby |3lack|ce » Fri Oct 20, 2006 5:22 am

Just an advisory here to those thinking of becoming addicted to this wonderful game. The Burning Crusade expansion is due to release next month, bringing new zones, instances, and skills to the game, as well as expanding the level cap to 70 from 60. The new content will consist of things to do from 60 to 70 (and at 70), so if you're going to enjoy this expansion to its fullest, get started levelling now or you won't make it in time.

Back to the grind, For da Horde!

Did both - it rocked.

Bumping this thread because of new news:

WoW patch 2.0.1 is now in effect - forever changing the way pvp rewards/rep/honor is handled, and introducing Arenas, and 41 point talent trees for all. Hunters are now the flavor of the month because they're virtually unstoppable, as well as Paladins thanks to their new dps additions.

BC is just around the corner! Get your ass levelling now or you won't enjoy the new content when the time comes!

Heh, I finally got my hands on a copy of WoW today. Been playing the trial for a few days, just on level 13-14 so far... Just my luck, I get the game and an expansion comes out.

Cheers,

Rock on Cg - which server?

And sorry to tell ya Dalek, unless he's on the BC beta by invite there ain't no level 63 until after jan 15. Runetotem isn't a beta server. 53 perhaps?

For those of ya who visit SWC my charname is Relive. Don't let the "RP" tag fool ya - just means there's a LOT less kids on it making idiots of themselves and doing things their mommy told 'em not to. The guild I'm in is primarily a PvP guild, although we do raid, and there's not a single member in it under the age of 19 - in fact, most of us are 30+

Yeah his normal server is Runetotem, but he did receive an invite and he's on the Hellfire server at level 63, he goes by the nik Chaoslord, on the Runetotem he goes by Lacan and he apparently is one of 3 players with a Thunderfury Blade of the Windseeker, course it helps if you've been playing since March 2005.... 8)

Heres an image of his character.. http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick ... 0&warned=y

Hey, I'm on the European version, and the server is Alonsus. Anyone from Taz in there?

I bought World of Warcraft but I haven't played it - heck, I've got the CD next to me and I haven't even installed it! The whole 'pay to play' thing just deters me from getting started, because I know that I'll enjoy it and get addicted and it all goes downhill from there (cash-wise) :D

Thunderfury is ok, but not all it's cracked up to be (but it's better now that warriors have the 'no disarm' talent). I liked Hand of Ragnaros on my warrior up until this most recent patch - now he dual wields 1h blades. My lock's using HWL casterdagger and offhand - our guild's not big enough to tier up yet so pvp stuff is it - although we've got Ony and ZG on farmstatus and are about to retire zg.

Tell your son congrats on the invite - we've one from our guild who's on beta and is 70 now, so lots of good inside info is flowing our way.

JK - 15 bucks a month isn't that bad a price, most especially for what you get out of it....but be advised, once you do start playing *even on a trial* you will fast become addicted. There ain't no such thing as a 'casual player'.

Yeah, they already found a glitch in a weapon that has summoning powers, only the beings summoned are at level 87, and quickly kills off opponents.
