Guild Wars?

Postby alleyCat » Thu Feb 22, 2007 5:29 am

So does anyone play guild wars?

I never thought of myself as an online gamer, but recently it has pervaded my waking moments (the non-work one... okay I admit it, the working ones too)

I think you'll find a fair few here
maybe not guild wars per say
but definitely members who allow games to pervade their working day

I tried the demo for GW:factions out. Didn't care for it much so I went back to WoW.

tis a well known cyber fact that once bitten by the WoW bug
nothing is ever the same again
so we will ignore |ce in this discussion :) :P

I tried several of the MMORPG genre
but it must be something in me

I never got hooked by any of them
I like CS:S mainly because it's all over and done in a couple of minutes
and I really enjoyed red Alert when it came out, and still have a tank rush blast off every now and again :)

but I've never been into any game that takes hours, let alone days

CS games suck now.

Full of whiny little shits and Foxx. ;)

Never tried Guild Wars, MMORPG has never really bitten me either, I prever standard RPG.

Which reminds me, I need to get Never Winter Nights 2 :D

I played the orginal (not for a while now though). Its well worth it if you ask me. A game where you actully have to thin about your skills rather than just looking at which does the most damage.

P.S Sorry if the typing is off, the kitten is on the keyboard.

Okay so no one plays GW here? I guess I'm going to have to keep playing with all my RL cronies.
