Watching an amazing match between Mahut and Isner, 52-51 in the fifth set with no end in sight... The scoreboard has broken, because it can't handle numbers large enough, and the umpire is hoarse from calling scores for 9+ hours.

Ok I'm a cynic.

Do you think they have colluded to get their names in the history books and maybe get a bit of corporate sponsorship?

Yeah, looks like that match will be in the record books forever.

At least, until they build robotic tennis players.

Probably not an integer overflow... If they were only using 5 bits, it should have overflowed at 31, if 6, then at 63. It overflowed only in the 40s, ergo, it wasn't an integer overflow </geek>
