I realy can relate to Noia ....
18. I drink duvel if its available, I don't drink other beers.
Well doesn't need any explaining ...but in any case ... Duvel is a Belgian beer :D
30. I love winter, winter and autumn are my fav times of the year.
Weird ...alot of people which contribute to the list have these seasons as their favourit ... is it something with IT or does it involve deeper lying secrets (loneliness, melancholly) mmm food for thought ;)

03. My name means bear
Now we are talking :D

Good list Noia

1. I almost had a healthinsurance wich would give me 100 free condoms per year.

2. I sometimes act like I'm a hitman like in the movie Leon or a secret agent like in James Bond, for example when I'm sitting in the bus. The look on my face when I'm in that stage has gotten me alot of conversations with hot chi... women.

3. I have cold feet right now.

If I cry...I lose
Crying is not a show of weakness ... in contrary ... I think if you CAN cry in "public" with something nice is a good thing ...it means you can let your emotions run free and don't get to be a prisoner of your emotions.

Much like anger ... if you let it consume you ...then you loose .

(I'm not stating that you think it's weak or something ...just an observation )

I used to camping all the time....and now I don't
I love camping ...but you allready know that :) ... It brings you in closer contact with nature ... I only wish I could do it more ... I always have to do it secretly here in Belgium because "free camping" is illegal ... That's why I'm going on a survival trip in Sweden ...

Any peticular reason you don't camp anymore ?

CAMPING :

I LOVE camping
I'll be out again on January 6th to a motorCycle rally, for a weekend of drunkeness and frozen feet [VERY 8)]

I lived / worked in Spain for just over a year, oil exploration / seismic survey stuff, we camped out wherever we were working

I've pitched tents all over Europe, and quite a bit of Africa too
I had preying mantis in my tent as 'pets' [they keep away ALL unwanted insects, but you DO have to accept THEM :)] and I've got a lot of good memories from all that fresh air

used to 'do' a european tour on the bike each year, using the FIM rally as a central meeting point, we, the club I was active in, would spend around a month on the road, camping each night, and travelling all day, well, until the THIRST kicked in :D

nowadays, of course, I carry kit that's more for comfort than style, but I still camp ............

if you don't know, then you don't WANT to know :)
think camping with NO mod cons

my mate did MAWCORP [mountain arctic warfare cadre] Royal Marine nutter brigade :) but at least he was getting PAID to do it .....

I assume that you [cemetric] are paying for this 'torture' :)

What's a survival trip?
Well .... It's a back to basics trip ...in this case I'm going to help someone check the hikingroutes that are set up in that region in Sweden.

But because it's week long away from any civilisation, we'll take the bare minimum ... this means :

No tent ... just a sleeping bag and a tarp ... basic food ...we'll live of the land if possible ...fishing ...trapping small animals ... etc... just a knife, axe and the knowledge of the land

It's just a free your mind , back to basics kind of trip ... but because in Sweden you can camp everywere you want it's more fun ...sitting by the campfire each evening ... a few days with the canoe and a few days hiking ...

realy looking forward to it ...first will have to up my fitness level though :)

It's a shame no one wants go camping with you anymore :(

And I bet there are some nice places to camp near Texas ( ok not realy helping here am I)

That sounds like a lot of fun! Anything in Sweden...can't be that bad. :)

I used to do "primitive" camping (what it's called here)...but we would use a tent. But you'd have to hike in several miles....not just pull your car up or anything. I think camping along rivers is sooooo nice. The thing that sucked was having to haul beer...that can get REALLY heavy hiking through miles in the hills. Pedernales Falls was one of my favorite places to go. Really anywhere in the Hill Country is fun!!
