Really something pretty amazing! NASA really has some Geek Gods working there.

The whole landing system, looked bonkers and worked like a dream.

If you check the NASA site now they've already located and photographed the heatshield crash site, the carrier shell and 'chute landing site and the crater left by the sky-crane.

Usually, we try to find the simplest solution for a successful outcome. This approach almost seemed to complex to succeed.

And, the flight engineer has a Mohawk. How cool is that?!?!?!
