I don't think that number includes my pr0n, far too small. People underestimate the importance of pr0n in the world. No pr0n no internet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-TA57L0kuc

I was at GrrCON last week, one of the speakers was talking about hacking on line contests and what not. He had an interesting power point. An Egg.
This is the Internet. An Egg
Then a picture of an cracked egg. The egg white was worthless shit on the internet and the yoke was the usable stuff on the internet. He went on to say that the egg white grows exponentially and the yoke grows at a more linear rate. Good talk!
Oh and now I know how I can get 1,000 VALID hotmail accounts for only $10 (WTF Russians have to eat too) And the best tool to use to dump all the mail from those accounts into a searchable format.

But, that doesn't fit with Sturgeon's Law. The yolk should only be about 10 percent. The rest is just crap.

True but Sturgeon didn't understand Accelerating change - such as Moore's Law

I think we need a new law that incorporates both Moore's and Sturgeon's. Where the crap keeps getting bigger and the good stuff keeps getting smaller. That would seem to reflect reality.

We should create a wiki article titled The Taz Law! Founded by rapier57 Taz Law states that most of the information on the Internet is shit. And that Internet shit grows exponentially. This is mainly due to the purchase of cats and camera/video devices. Another factor of growth is the ease of use of modern technology. i.e., any moron can now easily take a picture of their cat and post said picture to one or many of the thousands of social media/blogs/email/online storage sites.
Taz Law also states that useful information on the Internet is growing on a linear rate, but not as fast as one would believe. Even though new, useful information is available on the Internet; many times morons stumble across this information and copy / re post that information with an incorrect interpretation or via a script kiddie spam engine. Thus adding to the shit that makes up the majority of the information on the Internet.
CONCLUSION: If you do not belong to the Tazforum and cannot log on to an IRC server, you are just adding to the shit
