I didn't know if it would help our ratings at all...
I'm sure www.vt.edu is ranked pretty high, no idea how other pages are effected though

It would definitely help then...especially if you could convince the Student Council or the Tech Department to link back to us too

The best links you can have are on .gov sites...government sites carry a lot of SEO weight...University sites are cream of the crop too.

Just one .gov link to us would jump us one or two page ranks...
