Swiss cheese is porous.
Swiss immigration and naturalization policy is not.
Therefore, relocating and becoming a Swiss national is very difficult, particularly if you are not from the EU zone. Are there any Swiss here that can lend advice or particular gimmicks where I might be able to facilitate the process? I've spoken with the immigration officers at the Swiss Consolate, but they damn near told me to not even bother trying unless I have Swiss hertitage, because it's unlikely to ever happen.
I need advice, and I know we've got alot of people dotted around the globe here. Help!
Are there any Swiss here?
Re: Are there any Swiss here?
I can't help but I'm curious as to why you would want to settle in Switzerland?
Do you need to switch nationality? Lots of people live and work there without becoming Swiss nationals.
Is it work work? Will you be near the border? It might be easier to move to an EU country and commute into Switzerland. Sould be easier to become an EU national too.
You could ask Swiss Tony?
