AO Drama lives on...

The place to kick back, relax, post general bullshit, and grill a few on the BBQ. Whatever doesn't fit into another forum would go here. We periodically go through and move posts to the correct forum, but we do charge a case of Beer every time we have to.

My posts all appear to be intact. That said, I Taz-negged him (UA549) good. Arrrrgh. Let's see if I survive.

Milfy, where's that next round? I am parched.

Hopefully next summer with the kids...then we are going to visit my Dad in England....some family in Scotland...would love to see Ireland.

The admins are trying their best to bull-bait people into arguments to bolster post count. They know that if they insult a longtime member then other people will step in and post in their defense. Aside that... its really only Gore, Nihil, and the sock accounts making threads there.

Its a moot point though. Don't even bother with that website. Why don't you guys just ask to have your accounts closed like I did... then forget about it. :stinker:

People still use office97 because its so widely pirated. Its been unofficially freeware/abandonware since... well... 1997. You might not find the latest version but your always guaranteed to find atleast the 97/2k3 suit.

Plus, for the most part, people only know how to file reports with office suits. You don't want these sort of people setting up something like mySQL. They're simply to lazy or stupid to move on to anything beyond an overrated text editor.

all true that :(
and I have been contractiing in UK NHS for some time now
they still have some apps that NEED Access97
grunts / managers ALL telling those upstairs we need to get a reality check

but NHS reality is the user don't know how to do it any other way
and the 'developers' either went under years back, or moved on to other projects
feckin useless [L]users at their best

Yeap...the current system need access 97......new versions of access dont bring in the indexes....same with crystal reports...8.5 reads the database and imports the indexes....9 doesn't.

See.......... I could get work in England.....if theres any to be had :?

Had the foxpro database crash once it reached a million transactions....

I notice other people have links, and they're only targeting TAZ...but even though the new guys running the show seem to have a hard-on for TAZforum...AO changes hands once in awhile and the next new owners might not care. And we'll just throw the links back up. ;)

***MOD ON***

Ger_See_Shore refs are not allowed on the TAZ

*see Volume 5, Book 16, Chapter 376, Paragraph 23, Line 2 - 3. And I quote "Fuck them Bitches. No Jersey Reference or residents may ever post on the Taz as long as the TV show is live or in syndication".

***MOD OFF***

So let it be written, so let it be done.
