Or feckin hope it stops at three!

    Have got the cold

Some fanny on Ebay is being awkward

Car flashed up a problem this morning don't know the detail yet but the symbol was "£". :imsorry:

Just bought a code reader for the car, it's either an ABS sensor or the pump but probably the latter. Feckin technology.

It's a VAG so probably the Teves Mk60 ABS module bollox.

The stuck all the sensors inside a solid black box to save 10p but one of the transistors was cheap crap and goes FUBAR in lots of cars.
Part is £200 plus a couple of hours fitting.

It's not as dramatic as that story but still a PITA.

Alternatively it might be a wheel bearing screwing with an ABS sensor but I can't tell until I plug in a code reader.
I hate not being able to fix stuff myself but I don't have the time or equipment to fanny about with cars.

My cold is going. So that's one good thing.

I was afraid to ask, EG. Never know what the Sheepherder will say.
Rapier57.

Jayne: Testing. Testing. Captain, can you hear me?
Mal: I'm standing right here.
Jayne: You're coming through good and loud.
Mal: 'Cause I'm standing right here.

VAG = Volkswagen Auto Group > VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Lamborghini and Bentley

They all share parts so can have similar failures.

Turns out there are two faults. the Feckin ABS pump which I've found for £170 on Ebay AND one of the rear ABS sensors has gone. bought the sensor last night, £50 for a feckin little magnetic sensor and that was with a 25% discount.

There is a good change the hub could be FUBAR too. Feckin cars!

£600 later all fixed.

Basted germans

Needed new ESP sensor pack, new hub, new sensor, new banknotes :(

New car in a year.

Actually I'd rather get another bike if I could convince SWMBO. Quite like the idea of an early R1 or Fireblade and and ruin it as a classic.
