China: the next Superpower???

Postby Egaladeist » Tue Mar 16, 2010 4:31 pm

With the collapse of the USSR and the economic crisis in America ( even having to borrow money from China ), China seems posed to become the next economic and military superpower.

Maybe even as early as late this Century we might see a shift toward China.

What do you think?

China, India followed by an emergent South American block. But not till they dump Chavez and start thinking seriously.

What I really wonder is if China/India come on leaps and bounds where will they outsource their work when it becomes too expensive?

EU and the US might well be in decline but we're a little bit away from mud huts. Africa is a basket case and will continue to be one.

Maybe the first corporate takeover of a Sovereign state? Somalia becomes Nikestan, IBM-ania or the Wallmart republic of Somalia. Corporation is entitled to a percentage of State surplus?
