we are just trying to figure out a way to get back, if not to the heady days of the beginning, at least to get a cadre of the old guard back and posting, even if it's only a post a day in total.
we can work with that
it cannot be just me, or a couple of others, as that merely gives the impression that the entire site is a one man band
although looking at Eg's posting ratio even now, he is still, far and away our most rampant poster

but it was starting to look like the DaFoxx show for a while, and yes, I had been remiss in getting here, but life treated us all differently, and in my case a tad harsh if I may be so bold

I check to see how everyone is doing now and then, but I have been out of the arena for years.
Carrier adjustments and Health issues were major reasons, but have been checking back occasionally to see how you guys were doing and noticed this post.
Most of my free time is no longer spent picking apart computer code and security flaws, (that is now in the hands of the younger) but working on my Harley, trying to ride it, and spoiling the grandchildren; (16 year spread between oldest and youngest).
I wish all well, and hope I can check back in the future!

SO the site might actually get a little cadre of the old guard back together again,
like I said, here is no longer what it once was, but it would be nice to have a little place to call our own, so we can shoot the shit with people who recall when we were once GIANTS in this here tech world
