'hidden' section

Postby DaFoxx » Sun Oct 15, 2006 10:28 pm

we do have a 'hidden' section here at TAZ
and normally I would troll the memberlist and add those whose post count has passed 20 ish, and is in a variety of forums, with a variety in the responses

HOWEVER

the site has now grown way past what I can easily cover

I LIKE easy :)
so I would appreciate if you would PM me to let me know when you reach 20 posts

now I know this makes me look like an idle twat
and there is a damn good reson for it :D

I AM idle

so a PM and the jobs a good 'un :P

thank you for reading this drivel
and yes, I have been drinking [AGAIN]

Nothing Shipp can do with the php to automatically alert you?

umm well how is the post count worked out? Just use that to do a join and update on your database via a SQL function, no php required!

:)

it isn't enough to have 20 posts and then you go in ........

I decide based on the variety of the posts
if they are all in one section, or worse, all in one thread
then you don't get access

you go through those hallowed portals :P once you start to post everywhere ;)

and if I get the booze bribe in time natch :D

So really can I get a decoder ring too? a wi-fi decoder ring! Wow! I just want my 28.8 modem to be 56k So i can kick arse!

Dang come to think about it the first modem I had was 1800 baud rate if I remember correctly. I was using aol 1.5 and couldent even surf web pages using thier internal webbrowser.. I could only play in chat rooms. That was the first night I got addicted to the internet. I had a monochrome toshiba satellite with win 3.1 .. Maybe this should belong in another thread.. Oops I kinda took it a little far. ahh the old days... Who knew it would lead to addiction!!

maybe we SHOULD start a 'what got YOU addicted' thread
where you post the basic spec and OS of the box that got you hooked
