My intro

Hey guys, i'm jaymill, and I've been lovin computers since I was about 6. I'm 19 now, and a computer science student and I love computer security, but I'm a relative newbie. I stumbled upon this site because I used to work with airsnort, but instead of digging through code and trying to make it work with sp2, I said screw it, and found an aircrack tutorial by Nokia. I'm trying to start a website where I will write about various attacks, like cracking WEP, MitM attacks, netbios hacking etc.

my idea is to create a site, but a newbie, for newbies, so that everyone is on the same page. Similarly, every new story will have a focus on how to prevent the attack, not just how to commit it. If you want to check it out, its in its early stages, and I would defiantly love any comments or feedback on it. (and if anyone wants to make me a banner, photoshop and I don't mix...)

Btw, when I don't do this stuff, I play ultimate (Frisbee) , play games, am a proud member of the greek system at URI (TEP), and generally just the good stuff :)

Lo Jay.

Site doesn't look to bad at all. I see what you mean about your banner though.

Something simple probably works best. If you're going to have text in the better to make it a gif. Using jpegs blurs straight edges. Blocks of colour tend to be easier to read rather than gradients.

Hi jaymill!

As for the banner, I recommend something simple - perhaps give the header div a light grey background colour, put an <h1>JayMill's Network Security</h1> in that div, style the <h1> and use 'align: center; vertical-align: center;' on the header div to centre the <h1> text?

Good luck with the site btw ;)

Thats what I was thinking, but I might have a friend who will make a good simplistic background with the title over it, we'll see which one will look better.
