Hi, this looks like a great place

I was making some general searches on Ubuntu and this is one of the links that came up. I had a quick look-see and decided to join! Looks like a very useful site.

I love all things computing (even subjects that are way beyond my current comprehension). I'm a recent convert to Linux/Ubuntu and loving it, though I don't know that much yet.

I'm a friendly sort, as well. :P

Looking forward to reading and learning here.

Welcome Harrie,
I'm a recent convert to Linux/Ubuntu and loving it, though I don't know that much yet.
Don't worry we'll beat that out of you ... Linux ... What were you thinking

Anyway ... You'll fit in fine. Just don't believe anything J_K9 has to say about Linux and you'll be ok ... hehehehe

ubuntu 6.06 is their best release yet, I'm not such a big fan of 6.1

I think Spec was enjoying himself in a 'special' way.

I prefer 6.06 to 6.10 as well - the former has rock-solid stability whereas the latter seems to have been rushed out. The development team had only four months to do it (instead of six), after all :)

Welcome Harrie! Oh, and take Cem's advice - nothing I have to say is worth hearing

J_K9, I could tell Cem was funning even the day I joined, but having read a little bit around here now I really know it! :D I think I have stumbled onto a goldmine here.

I appreciate the further welcomes!
