Dave & Ansell Collins - Double barrel

Didn't know the track but I do remember a lot of the samples they lifted and used in other tracks.

Red Foley-"Chattanoogie Shoeshine Boy" was #1 on the Billboard "Most Played in Jukeboxes" list from Feb 11-April 8, 1950.
It was also # 1 on the Billboard "Most Played by Jockeys" and Best Sellers in Stores" Charts in 1950, although for a shorter time.

The Billboard Hot 100 debuted in 1958 and replaced the above-mentioned lists.
Leo Fender opened Fender Radio Service a few miles south of Route 66 in 1938. He was making various electric instruments after that and founded Fender Electric in 1947. The first Gibson Les Paul came out in 1952.

LaoTse:

Seeing how you are probably going to post regularly and, OBVISOULY, haven't read the FAQ, let me show you the Taz Rules as they relate to posting.

TAZ Rules
General Rules All Taz members must make one drunken unintelligible post once a month - penalty for not making said posts will result in loss of bar privileges.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Staying on Topic No Thread outside of the technical and tutorial forums shall stay on topic for any reason. It is suggested and encouraged that any non technical post begin off topic and slowly arrive at the intended topic. Thus immediately going straight off topic again; hence avoiding intended topic and previous off topic topic.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hidden Rules The rest of the rules are hidden and you will only be notified of an infraction once you break one of the 1.8 billion rules. Unless you're drunk - then it doesn't matter. per The Official TAZZONE Rule Book: Volume 1, book 16, section 2647.b, page 3,426 - sub section q, paragraph 103, lines 2 and 3.

Geez, Dino, you _would_ have to bring up the rules, NOW!

:stinker:
