Not sure if anyone has tried it before, but I don't see why we shouldn't try to organize a site based get-together where we could all meet up... meet each other and .... well.. drink our faces off?
Make it an annual thing. But instead of keeping it in the same location like Defcon (Vegas) switch it up from year to year.... gives me a great excuse to split the country now and then!

Give me any reason to travel.
Pick a place... see if we can't arrange a local hotel to hook
everyone up for a group discount.... and then see if we
can't arrange something. Fun, gaming, boozin, all around geeky
socializing.... promoting international relations! Bring your friends...
after all... its a party!

Fort Lauderdale is truely a "fun" town. You have Miami/South Beach
about 20-25 minutes south of here. You have Boca Raton and West Palm Beach about 25-45 minutes north. Most of the bars clubs close as 4am...... with the exception of some in South Beach which stay open till noon the next day.
But its nice to get out and see something different. I've been itching to go overseas.... Spain, Ireland, England, Italy.... I heard Afghanistan is pretty tis time of year! : /
